schedule. Determined time extensions required to cover the cost and schedule impact to the period of

- Senior Project Controls Manager – Brigade Headquarters Complex, USAG - Humphreys, Korea
Responsible for creating the integrated master schedule from the accepted proposal schedule. This project was
expanded into the detailed schedule utilizing craft production rates that were verified by superintendents as well
as key subcontractors. This project is under construction and the schedule is currently being utilized to track
progress and earned value on this 33 million dollar project.
- Senior Project Controls Manager – Hematite Decommissioning Project, Festus, MO
Provided audit of schedule update procedures in order to meet client reporting requirements. Streamlined the
process including a quality control review that increased the accuracy and on time submissions to the client.
Generated cost and resource loading curves by applying WBS values to detailed schedule activities. Developed
method of utilizing filters to differentiate resource hours and potential changes from approved contract
modifications in the schedule. Provided analysis in identifying critical path impacts due to change orders on
this 18 million dollar project.
- Senior Project Controls Manager – Center for Character & Leadership Development, Colorado Springs, CO
Supported successful proposal schedule resulting in award of this 25 million dollar project by the Department
of the Air Force. Created detailed scheduled activities integrating a detailed WBS based on the CSI 2004
format. This schedule included optional construction scope that impacted the direction of the critical path
depending on which scope was approved by the client. The schedule included many client shutdown periods
and potential weather delays that contributed to the complexity of finishing within the required period of
performance. Performed project risk analysis incorporating contingency plans into the schedule using
Primavera Risk Analysis to calculate the required probability that the project would be completed by the project
completion date of 630 days.
- Senior Project Controls Engineer – Rocky Flats Environmental Technology Site (RFETS), Golden, CO
Created and submitted construction schedules and variance reports to the client for review and approval of
30 million dollar demolition projects. Updated schedule progress including start and finish dates, percent
complete, remaining durations while maintaining logic in schedule changes. Prepared bi-weekly construction
schedules including earned values for billing progress payments. Prepared cumulative budget variance reports
that included progress percent completions and costs to complete forecasts. Incorporated change orders into
schedule of values for billing purposes.
- Project Cost Control Engineer – San Francisco International Airport Expansion, San Francisco, CA
Managed multiple contract project budgets and cost forecasts for the new international terminal project.
Controlled general contractor’s payment requests to maintain positive cash flow. Scrutinized scope changes
through extensive trend and change order analysis. Integrated cost forecasts with schedule activities and
manpower projections keeping this 800 million dollar project within budget and on schedule.

Client representative for controlling invoices from design and construction management firms resulting in a
net savings in excess of 500,000 dollars. Developed and analyzed earned manpower progress versus baseline
projections for client design engineers. Inspected scope changes to minimize usage of 80 million dollar
contingency and management reserve funds. Controlled owner’s additional direct costs of 32 million dollars.
Produced monthly management report incorporating multiple capital spending request budgets on this
770 million dollar project.
-Senior Project Controls Engineer – Marvell Semiconductor Campus Renovation Project, Santa Clara, CA
Solicited and obtained written quotations from mechanical, electrical, and general contractors in order to create
multiple prime contracts. Developed independent project estimate to develop owner budget. Client
representative for scheduling and coordination between multiple general contractors. Scrutinized architectural
and multiple prime contractor invoices to retain positive cash flow. Maintained Prolog change control system
for projects in excess of 63 million dollars.
- Project Controls Engineer – Southern Peru Copper Project, Ilo, Peru
Performed cost control functions for home office expenditures utilizing an in-house generated cost control
program. Monitored monthly progress of completed engineering versus expended man-hours in order to
maintain 110 million dollar project budget and schedule. Managed monthly payments to client for completed
portions of design. Revised procedure for updating cash flow statements and progress schedules. Decreased
manual effort by 50% and established a greater degree of accuracy in monthly reports.
- Proposal Scheduler – Columbus Closure Project, Columbus, OH
Supported successful proposal joint venture resulting in award of this 26 million dollar project. Created over
300 scheduled activities integrating a 4th level WBS that included fiscal funding constraints and client decision
points. This cost/resource loaded baseline master schedule calculated the critical path within the overall project
duration limitation of three years and was utilized to monitor earned value calculations. Performed project risk
analysis incorporating contingency plans into the schedule using Monte Carlo software to calculate the required
probability that project would be completed by DOE project completion date.
